How Daily Rewire handles your goal, your photos and your films.

The short version

Daily Rewire makes a film of you from the goal you write and the photos you add. To do that, your photos and goal leave your iPhone and are processed by us and by the AI services named below. This page explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.

What we collect

  • Your goal. The sentence you write about what you want to be true a year from now.
  • Your photos. The two or three photos of yourself that you add.
  • Your account. An identifier from Sign in with Apple.
  • What we make for you. The frames you approve or reject, the scenes generated from them, your film, and the first step you choose.

How your photos are handled

Before upload, each photo is resized on your iPhone, checked for a clear face, and stripped of its metadata, including location. It is then stored on our servers so your film can be made.

To make your film, your photos and goal are sent to AI services through OpenRouter: Alibaba (Wan) and xAI (Grok Imagine) generate the scenes of you, and OpenAI models check frames and write captions. You see this, and agree to it, before you add any photos.

What your films are

Every film is AI-generated. It is not real footage, and it is made only from the photos you add.

Why we use it

We use your goal, photos and approvals only to make and show your films and to run your account.

Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your account, along with the photos and films linked to it.

Age

Daily Rewire is for adults, 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

Changes

If we change how we handle your data, we’ll update this page and, for meaningful changes, tell you in the app first.
